All your digital tools in one place

I found this really great way to put all of your bookmarked webpages in one place with a website called Symbaloo.

What is Symbaloo?

Symbaloo is a visual bookmarking tool that makes it simple and fun to organize the best of the web. You have all your favorite websites at your fingertips. With an account you can access your bookmarks from everywhere with any device and share your online resources with others.

What does it look like?

Below is a picture of what it looks like – as you can see, it looks like little pictures of websites that once you click on the picture, the user is taken to that website.

Who can benefit from Symbaloo?

Teachers, librarians, students, parents!

There are so many possible ways to use this as a teacher or librarian. Just think, you can put all the important websites related to a particular project in a Symbaloo. This would keep students focused and not side tracked with other websites that are not related to the topic. Or you put educational resources for students to use to for extra studying, like SAT/ACT prep, flash cards, Discovery, etc. As far as parents, I am sure they would appreciate a well-planned group of quality web resources for their child to use. Once you have an account, you can see all the already created Symbaloos and just one of them or create your own from scratch.

The details…

This is a free tool to use. You can add to the code to a website or just add the link.
